Individual Counselling

We work one-on-one with clients seeking support with a wide range of personal and emotional concerns. Whether you’re facing acute difficulties or navigating long-term challenges, sessions are tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Sessions are available in person or online.

We can help with:

  • Stress, burnout, and emotional fatigue
  • Anger management
  • Bereavement and grief
  • Family or relationship issues
  • Identity, self-esteem, and personal development

Individual sessions are 60 minutes, offered either in person or online.*

Couples Counselling

Relationship challenges can arise at any stage of life. Our couples counselling provides a supportive environment where both partners can be heard, better understand each other, and learn healthier ways of relating.

Sessions are available in person or online.

We can help with:

  • Communication breakdowns
  • Intimacy and connection issues
  • Changes in the relationship after having children
  • Parenting struggles
  • Rebuilding trust and rediscovering shared direction
  • A sense of growing apart

Couples sessions are 60–90 minutes and available in person or online.*

Professional Supervision

We provide structured, supportive supervision for counsellors, social service professionals, and peer support workers. These sessions offer a confidential environment to explore your work, gain clarity, and continue developing professionally.

Sessions are available in person or online.

We can help with:

  • Navigating challenging client situations and ethical considerations
  • Supporting practitioner wellbeing and preventing burnout

Group Facilitation

Headwright Counselling also provides group sessions for community organisations, workplaces, and support networks. Group facilitation creates a shared space for learning, connection, and practical support.

Common group topics include:

  • Stress and burnout prevention and recovery
  • Peer support and supervision
  • Support for caregivers

How it works:

  • Minimum of 4 participants
  • Sessions run for 90–120 minutes
  • Delivered online, at your workplace/organisation, or in rooms located in Henderson, Ranui, Massey, Remuera, or Epsom
